Getting Started
Up and running in 60 seconds
System Requirements
- macOS 13 (Ventura) or later
- Apple Silicon or Intel Mac
- ~30 MB disk space
Download & Install
- Download the latest release from owlscope.app or click the Download Free button.
- Unzip the downloaded file.
- Drag OwlScope.app into your
Applicationsfolder. - Double-click to launch. macOS may ask you to confirm since it's from an identified developer — click Open.
Grant Accessibility Permission
OwlScope needs Accessibility access to listen for your global hotkey and position the menu at your cursor.
- On first launch, OwlScope will prompt you to grant Accessibility access.
- Click Open System Settings (or go to
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility). - Toggle OwlScope on.
- You may need to unlock the panel with your password first.
Tip: If the hotkey doesn't work after granting access, try quitting and relaunching OwlScope.
Summon Your First Menu
Press ⌘E anywhere on your Mac. The radial menu appears at your cursor.

Select
Move your mouse to a wedge, or press a number key 1–8.

Execute
Click or press Enter. The action fires instantly and the menu closes.
