Getting Started

Up and running in 60 seconds

System Requirements

  • macOS 13 (Ventura) or later
  • Apple Silicon or Intel Mac
  • ~30 MB disk space

Download & Install

  1. Download the latest release from owlscope.app or click the Download Free button.
  2. Unzip the downloaded file.
  3. Drag OwlScope.app into your Applications folder.
  4. Double-click to launch. macOS may ask you to confirm since it's from an identified developer — click Open.

Grant Accessibility Permission

OwlScope needs Accessibility access to listen for your global hotkey and position the menu at your cursor.

  1. On first launch, OwlScope will prompt you to grant Accessibility access.
  2. Click Open System Settings (or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility).
  3. Toggle OwlScope on.
  4. You may need to unlock the panel with your password first.
Tip: If the hotkey doesn't work after granting access, try quitting and relaunching OwlScope.

Summon Your First Menu

Press ⌘E anywhere on your Mac. The radial menu appears at your cursor.

Select

Move your mouse to a wedge, or press a number key 18.

Execute

Click or press Enter. The action fires instantly and the menu closes.
