Pomodoro Timer

Focus, break, repeat

Overview

OwlScope includes a built-in Pomodoro timer — no need for a separate focus app. Start a work session from the radial menu, get a notification when it ends, take a break, and repeat.

How It Works

  1. Trigger the Pomodoro action from your menu.
  2. A work session starts (default: 25 minutes). A timer appears in your menu bar.
  3. When the session ends, you receive a macOS notification and sound alert.
  4. A break session starts automatically (default: 5 minutes).
  5. After the break, the next work session begins. Repeat until you reset.

Configuration

  • Work duration — customize the length of focus sessions (default: 25 min)
  • Break duration — time between work sessions (default: 5 min)

You can also pause, resume, skip to the next phase, or reset the timer from the menu bar popover.

Tracking

Completed Pomodoro sessions are automatically tracked in Usage Statistics. See how many focus sessions you complete per day, week, and all-time.
