App Launcher

Open any app. One click. Every time.

Overview

Assign any macOS application to a menu slot. Click the slot (or press its number key) and the app launches instantly. No Spotlight search, no scrolling through your Dock — just muscle memory.

How to Set Up

  1. Open Settings → Menu.
  2. Click an empty slot or edit an existing one.
  3. Choose App Launcher as the action type.
  4. Select an application from the file picker — any .app bundle works.
  5. Optionally set a custom label and icon.

What You Can Launch

  • Apps in /Applications and ~/Applications
  • System apps (Finder, System Settings, Activity Monitor, etc.)
  • Apps installed via Homebrew Cask or Setapp
  • Custom paths to any .app bundle on disk

Tips

  • Use folders to group apps by category — e.g., “Design” (Figma, Sketch, Photoshop) or “Dev” (VS Code, Terminal, Xcode).
  • Place your 3–4 most-used apps at root level for fastest access.
  • Combine with Key Combos to launch an app and trigger a shortcut in it.
